Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion of a not-so-sexy topic – insurance for nonprofits. Running a nonprofit is comparable in many ways to running a business, which means you should have insurance. But beyond “slip & fall,” what are some needs unique to nonprofits? For example, what if you raise funds by selling baked goods, and someone comes down with food poisoning? What happens if you experience a data breach of clients’ personal information? If an employee sues for sexual harassment, are board members or unpaid staff personally liable?
This session is not just for officers and staff, but also for board members of nonprofits, all of whom need to know what’s at stake and what kind of coverage your organization should have.
About the presenter:
